So, it was the back end of last week and I got a call from an old client.
A gentleman who came to see me not much more than 2 years ago…well, 2 years and 4 months as I was informed.
This client was a smoker. Was. Like myself (when I was a smoker) he would smoke 50 a day (okay I was smoking 40).
When he stopped he continued forking out the money he would have spent on cigarettes…but funnelling it back into a rather large plastic box. After the first year he spent some time (as I did when I hit my year mark) counting out the cash. If he missed a few days or a week he would be honest and still put that in later on to make up and avoid a shortfall. Doing his calculations he thought that it would be around about this time that another count was due.
Sure enough, it was a biggy! £10,240.
This was the money he would have spent on smoking, had he continued to smoke and pay the same amount for his cigarettes (not taking into accounts increased duty that had come along since).
So, pretty good success story right?
Hypnosis to stop smoking. I’m glad I do this you can see.
Let’s not forget that his health received the biggest benefit of all.
